I visited Singapore’s iconic Dragon Playground at Toa Payoh lor 6 for the first time. It was built in 1979, designed locally, it’s no wonder that it is a Singapore icon. I was wondering why the playground is in the middle of nothing, but checking some old photos there were actually housing blocks surrounding it in the past. This is one of the very few dragon playground left in Singapore and the only one laid with sand. There is another one at Ang Mo Kio. It has been preserved by HDB for the timing being. Check it out while it’s still there!
